Habe ich in all diesen Jahren etwas verpasst?

Conclusion:

The H5N1 virus – better known as the bird flu – is going around the world. I thought about some analogies with the hollywood movie “Twelve Monkeys” from 1995. Ok, I know the virus is not that dangerous and is not that ambitious to kill, but what could be in ten years. Is this little H5N1 going to maka a deathly mutation? Nobody knows. As I am watching the news channels, I think they do it just to have a good header for the evening news. But at the other side I can imagine how such a virus could develope in a real threat.

Two days ago, a new pope is elected by the world leading cardinals… or were they all present. I don’t know and I don’t care. Not because I’m not a roman-catholic. It’s just one more useless burocratic organisation based on fraudy suductions. Yes, almost every religious organisation like the roman-catholic church, are full of stuff – and have always been – which e.g. Jesus never would have had accepted. What did Jesus said as he entered the temple full of business making people? And never changed… Since the beginnings of the church, it was a platform for seeking the power, wealth and other non religious targets.

The church evoluted from a God’s house into a big burocracy with power strugels among their members like any other large company. It seems that not only sometimes, but almost always the real aims of Jesus’ words are forgotten. It is true that christianity supported the development of all western societies or it was the enzyme to it, but unconciously.

How can such an organisation exist? It is obvious. The church has a lot of supporters for free. How many millions people are paying for being religious, belonging to a such a community? Why? The church in general has a very good maketing departement. They are selling peace in another level, after this miserable life… but they collect money for their own lifes now. An very good idea. I should try it by myself: I want to sell a guaranted safe and not that suffering place in hell… for a little extra you can get a place in heaven with a beautiful view over the sea. This idea of copying the church’s marketing is not new. Scientology for exemple does it with success.

Maybe there are psychological reason of the success of the church, and I don’t want to deminish the good work done by the church in poor countries and for other beneficial activities. I believe that today NGO’s and other non-profit-organisations should fill the place of the church… and they do it, but much cheaper. The support for the anti globalization movement by John Paul II impressed me, but the that’s all. From now on, the church should be avoided in any situation.

Let us come back to the new elected pope Joseph Ratzinger… from now on Benedict XVI. I don’t want to discuss the matter that he was in Nazi youth, because some other really nice people were there too or had to be there. But, let’s mention the conservativism and other very problematical issues. John Paul II was an conservative and old fashioned pope and Benedict XVI will be too. Why should AIDS protection in Africa be forbidden by the church? What is less human or more christian or simply, what is better: wasting sperms or wasting human lifes, in fact, killing them by declining the use of condoms? Why condemnig divorces as the avarage divorce rate in western countries is more than 50%? Is a woman with three children which left her husband because he beated her off like a punch bag condemned? There are a lot of such views by the roman-catholic church and by other churches that let me be really deep frustrated just by thinking of it.

As long as such opinions are not changed into human ones, there never will be a place for me in such an organisation.

Helmut Newton

Few days ago, Helmut Newton died in a car accident. Let us remember his great work… He never called himself an artist. He’s always been a functional photographer. I share his opinion about women, which should be shown as strong as they are in the real life. He loves female bodies, because of their beautiful forms, curves and faces. It’s a pity to lose such a good photographer that way. I always pattern myself on him… Thank you for the great work you did and peace where ever you are…
